Tambuwal Wins Sokoto APC Guber Ticket, Promises Qualitative Leadership
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Waziri has won the governorship primary of the All Progressives Congress ( APC ) in Sokoto State.
Tambuwal polled 3,300 votes to win the primary election ahead of Umaru Dahiru Tambuwal who got 23 votes and Yusheu
Abdullahi with 6 votes.
Another aspirant, Yushau Kebbe, got 13 votes, while two other aspirants got no vote at all, an indication that they either did not participate in the primary or did not vote for themselves.
Speaking on his victory, Tambuwal said He said he is delighted to have won the election, promising to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.

“I also thank delegates for their maturity and orderliness. I thank Bolaji Khalil. I thank security agents for their civility.”

“If elected, we will focus on education, health, infrastructure development and indeed women and youth empowerment.”
