FCT minister’s spokesman shot
The Special Assistant on Media to the
Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Mr Nosike Ogbuenyi was shot by
suspected robbers on Christmas Eve in Abuja.

The incident took place close to Dantata overhead bridge along the Umaru Yar’Adua Expressway at about 7:030pm when he was going home from office. The robbers snatched his official car.
Other items seized from him are: two Samsung handsets, one Window 7 HP Laptop, two hard disc memory devices, three USB devices, one large photo book, bank documents, two ATM cards and office records.
The robbers headed towards Gwarinpa-Zuba road through Dantata bridge with the snatched car, a black coloured 2011 model Toyota Corolla salon.
Efforts to confirm the incident from the FCT Police Command failed but the Chief Press Secretary to FCT Minister Mr Muhammad Hazat Sule confirmed the incident.
The minister has since visited Ogbuenyi in hospital.
