Censors Board bans Fifty Shades of Grey

Days after Fifty Shades of Grey was released in the Cinema, the
National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB), has banned the
movie, from showing in Nigerian Cinemas.

The Kenyan Film and Classification Board had banned the film which
has been rated as one of the most anticipated movies of 2015
recently.

The much talked about Fifty Shades of Grey which showed in most
major cinemas in Nigeria in its first week of release, has been removed
from list of movies showing in Nigeria cinemas by the board.

The movie is a 2015 American erotic romantic drama film directed by
Sam Taylor-Johnson with a screenplay by Kelly Marcel. The film stars
Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele, a college graduate who begins a
sadomasochistic relationship with young business magnate Christian
Grey (Jamie Dornan).

The film premiered at the 65th Berlin International Film Festival on
February 11 and had a wide release on February 13 by Michael De
Luca Productions, Trigger Street Productions, Focus Features and
Universal Pictures.
