Donations to Buhari’s campaign fund rise by N64m
The Crowd Funding Project of the presidential candidate of the All
Progressives Congress, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari has swelled by N64 million.
The amount was N54 million as at last two weeks when the Buhari briefed the press, but today ( yesterday) it has risen to N118 million.
Buhari, represented by his Chief of Staff, Col. Hamid Ali (rtd) at the interactive session with the 84 leaders of Buhari Support Organizations, also stated that the campaign needs more money to prosecute his election.
Speaking at the event, Ali called on the groups to make sure that they obtain their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVCs) as that would be the only way Buhari could win the presidential election.
He said: “You have been an instrument of change and there cannot be
change without you. Without PVCs Buhari cannot win”.
