71 percent candidates fail WAEC private exams

About 71 percent of the candidates who sat for the October/November 2014 West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
private failed to obtain five credits with English Language and
Mathematics.
At a press briefing in Lagos, the Head, Nigeria National Office of
WAEC, Charles Eguridu said a total of 241,161 candidates sat for the
examination but only 72, 522 candidates representing 29.37 percent
were successful in picking credits in five subjects that include in
English Language and Mathematics.
