Explosion Rocks Kano Again
Another explosion has occurred in Kano, Kano State again, according to residents.
The bomb went off on Friday evening in Hotoro, near the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation mega filling station in the town.
The extent of damage caused by the blast, which occurred at about
8pm, is still unknown.
The area had in the past also been attacked by members of the dreaded sect, Boko Haram.
Though details of Friday’s explosion were still sketchy, a source in the town confirmed it.
Gunshots were said to have followed the explosion.
Security operatives of the Joint Task Force have moved to the area.
